He was born and raised in Houston, Texas. His long career in manufacturing for the Oil & Gas industry has afforded him the opportunity to live in, and travel to, other parts of the world, experiencing different cultures and making lifelong friends along the way.
Possessing a passion for fiction writing since high school, Enduring Pride is his second novel. Started more than 15 years ago with the spark of an idea, it was an on-again-off-again project, re-started in earnest after finally finishing his first novel, Stasis, a science fiction tale published in 2017.
An amateur youth league umpire for more than three decades, he has recently retired from that arduous hobby after having called games for 33 years at every level from Little League to High School to Junior College. His dream of finally getting the call for the Little League World Series not realized, he is comfortable knowing that the years spent on the field calling balls and strikes; safes and outs; could be the basis for yet another story.
His next novel, tentatively titled Modern Architecture, is already underway, but spoiler alert…it’s not about baseball.
